Promoting Prosperity: Celebrating Economic & Trade Ministers
As so often is the case at Meridian, a night of fun and curated conversation began with dynamic and insightful programming.
On July 27, 2022, the Meridian Corporate Council partnered with Google to host economic counselors & trade attachés, for a briefing with Ambassador Karan Bhatia, Global Head of Government Affairs & Public Policy at Google and former Deputy U.S. Trade Representative. The conversation was moderated by Ambassador Stuart Holliday, CEO, Meridian International Center.
Following the briefing Meridian hosted a reception to honor embassy economic counselors and trade attachés and their valuable role in promoting prosperity for both their countries and the United States. The approximately 100 attendees comprised a mixture of economic counselors, trade attachés, business leaders, and U.S. government officials. Meridian was also honored to hear from Dorothy McAuliffe, Special Representative for Global Partnerships, U.S. Department of State.
