Meridian participates in the 2020 Virtual Leaders on Purpose CEO Summit

On September 24, 2020, Meridian participated in the 2020 Virtual Leaders on Purpose CEO Summit in partnership with Leaders on Purpose on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly. Bringing together H.E. Ashok Mirpuri, Ambassador of Singapore to the United States, H.E. Bergdis Ellertsdottir, Ambassador of Iceland to the United States, Mike Train, President of Emerson and T.H. Rodney Slater, Partner at Squire Patton Boggs to discuss the importance of a purpose-driven economy globally,  Meridian had the opportunity to expand the conversation to include the value of Corporate Diplomacy.

Ambassador Stuart W. Holliday, President and CEO at Meridian, moderated a session on the importance of Corporate Diplomacy at the intersection of the purpose-driven economy while highlighting the success stories in Iceland and Singapore, with their support of the private sector, while Secretary Slater and Mike Train spoke about the intersection of private sector interests and the diplomacy.
