Four scientific panels address various aspects of the obesity epidemic, in light of the UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases

The rapidly increasing size and growth of the global obesity epidemic requires increased collaboration and sharing of experiences and best practices at the international level. Aligned with the consensus at the recent UN High-Level Meeting on the Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases, population-based, multi-sectoral, and culturally relevant approaches and action plans must be developed.
