Blair House Holiday Reception

On Monday, December 11, 2023, Meridian honored the 55th Annual Meridian Ball Leadership and all who contributed to another successful year at Meridian. Hosted graciously at historic Blair House by Acting Chief of Protocol Ethan Rosenzweig, it was an opportunity to reflect on Meridian’s impact over the past year and to thank those who have helped make it possible. Present during the evening were senior U.S. Department of State officials, foreign Ambassadors, members of the Biden Administration, and members of the Meridian Board, Meridian Council, and Corporate Council.

Remarks by Mr. Rosenzweig and Ambassador Stuart Holliday highlighted the unique partnership between the U.S. Department of State and Meridian International Center, which has thrived for over 60 years. Ambassador Holliday also announced 2024's 56th Annual Meridian Ball Chairs, Deborah Lehr and John Rogers, as well as the 57th Annual Meridian Ball Chairs, Sela and Art Collins. Meridian is thrilled to have these four powerhouses help us lead the charge in strengthening engagement between the United States and the world over the next two years.
