FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Washington, DC, [March 24, 2026] — NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman will serve as the keynote speaker at the Meridian Space Diplomacy Forum in Washington, DC, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. Administrator Isaacman is the latest senior official to join the Forum, reflecting the growing momentum among global leaders to convene to advance space diplomacy and international cooperation.
The Meridian Space Diplomacy Forum, organized by Meridian International Center, will bring together leaders from government, industry, diplomacy, and the global space community to examine the intersection of space exploration and international cooperation under today’s ever-evolving geopolitical landscape. As space becomes increasingly multipolar, commercialized, and contested, the need for sustained multilateral diplomatic engagement has never been greater.
Administrator Isaacman will elaborate on the international implications of the National Space Policy Implementation update that will be revealed later today. As NASA has shared, they “will host a public event to outline how the agency is executing President Donald J. Trump’s National Space Policy and accelerating preparations for America’s return to the surface of the Moon by 2028.”
The Meridian Space Diplomacy Forum will be held at Meridian International Center’s historic campus in Washington, D.C., and will convene visionary featured speakers and senior leaders for high-level discussions on the future of international cooperation in space. With an audience of U.S. and global government, diplomatic, industry, and policy leaders will examine how they can work together to advance shared interests across the space domain—grappling with both the opportunities and challenges shaping the next era of space activity.
"Administrator Isaacman is demonstrating that international partnerships remain central to his bold and ambitious vision for NASA. He recognizes the need to work together on lunar exploration and beyond,” shared Frank Justice, Meridian’s Vice President of Open Diplomacy Programs and Director of the Meridian Space Diplomacy Initiative. “We are proud to host him at Meridian’s Space Diplomacy Forum, where global leaders will gather to discuss the United States’s reaffirmation of international space cooperation and the instrumental role that the American commercial space sector plays in advancing space ties and collaboration.”
