Over the last 55 years, more than 2,000 global leaders have participated in Meridian’s leadership exchanges, forums, and cultural and training programs. The success of many of these programs depends largely on active civic engagement in the communities we reach. Moreover, every day, civic leaders come through our doors with the shared objective of working together to foster a difference in the quality of life in communities around the world. These leaders also collaborate on new and innovative ways to develop knowledge, skills, and assessments to motivate and expand engagement through both political and non-political processes. Service and volunteerism are at the core of our approach to civic engagement. Though our Social Innovation Fellowship, Global Service Leaders Initiative, Service Innovation Summit, and WarmUp DC, we promote civic engagement both at home and abroad.
