The Role of Public-Private Partnerships in Promoting STEM Education
To see how governmental and educational institutions in the United States work with private sector partners to improve and upgrade the status of STEM fields and prepare students with skills for a changing economy;
To look at effective undergraduate and graduate STEM education programs;
To get acquainted with various forms of math syllabi and extra-curricular educational programs for middle, high school, and college students;
To observe the how much incoming university freshmen already know about STEM disciplines;
To explore how universities are increasing and sustaining public and youth engagement with STEM; and
To examine fab labs, makers’ spaces, youth makers’ fairs, and innovative technology museums and library spaces.
