Social Services for Immigrants and Persons with Disabilities

• Examine best practices for reducing poverty amongst recent immigrants and people with disabilities through expanded employment opportunities and workforce integration;
• Explore how to create innovative environments and meetings between practitioners and researchers working to improve support for people who have difficulty finding their place in the labor market;
• Analyze research that promotes the implementation of new working methods, approaches and partnerships, and provides means for introducing these into the labor and social support systems;
• Build partnerships with U.S. universities and organizations to develop common practices and knowledge.
