On November 8, 2017, Meridian’s Rising Leaders Council celebrated its 5th anniversary with a reception that gathered over 100 guests for the occasion. The gathered group was comprised of Council alumni and friends, as well as rising diplomatic leaders from foreign embassies across Washington.
Meridian’s CEO and President, Ambassador Stuart Holliday, welcomed the group and made special thanks to the Council co-founders, Clara Brillembourg, Astri Kimball and Nick Snyder, as well as the Rising Leaders Steering Committee Members, who are champions of building a more peaceful and prosperous world through their leadership in their respective fields.
The Rising Leaders Council is a dynamic network of mid-career professionals from the foreign diplomatic community, public and private sectors, and diverse disciplines who support Meridian’s mission to advance global leadership and non-partisan public diplomacy through the exchange of people, culture and ideas.
