Amid the 2024 U.S. election season, 22 youth civic and political leaders from around the globe gathered for an #IVLP program titled “Not Too Young to Run.” This program underscored the role of international exchange in strengthening democratic participation and empowering youth leadership. Participants engaged in discussions with past and present lawmakers, participated in leadership workshops, explored campaign strategies and voter turnout efforts, and observed early voting processes across Washington, D.C., and five states.
