The project decentralizes access to art and culture by bringing performances directly to rural areas, overcoming barriers such as financial constraints and geographic distance. An original production centered on hope-based communication and youth activism will be developed in collaboration with local artists, which will tour four delegations in southern Tunisia. The immersive performances will emphasize youth-driven storytelling and will foster personal and artistic growth while promoting community cohesion. Through partnerships with the local cultural centers, the project aims to revitalize these institutions and lay the groundwork for long-term positive change.
Zayneb participated in the IVLP Project Engaging Art Through Performing Arts organized by the U.S. Department of State and the Institute of International Education, in partnership with Global Ties Iowa, International Citizen Diplomacy of Los Angeles, WorldChicago, and WorldOrlando.
Zayneb’s IVLP experience focused on themes such as Art and Youth At-Risk, Conflict Resolution through Performing Arts, and Using Arts to Address Trauma for Youth. This project further ignited a passion for utilizing art as a catalyst for peace, forgiveness, and social cohesion and the transformative potential of artistic expression.
