Zak Kafcsak received a B.A. in International Relations and Management from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, where he was also a member of the St Andrews Lacrosse team, Investment Society and Management Society. Zak previously worked as a Major Gifts Operations Intern with the Heritage Foundation, where he conducted policy research and assisted in developing donor relationships. After graduating College in 2013, he embarked on a two-month, 8,000-Mile overland expedition through Sub-Saharan Africa with three friends. Most recently, Zak interned on Capitol Hill in the office of Senator Angus King (I-ME), where his work involved research assistance on defense, armed services, foreign affairs, budget and appropriations, education, and labor policy
