Zachary Adams (Zach) joined Meridian in May of 2015 as a Program Associate shortly after he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor's degree in both Global Studies and Political Science. Prior to joining Meridian, Zach formerly served as an intern with International Focus, the Global Ties Community Based Member in Raleigh, NC, where he assisted in developing itineraries for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP). Following his tenure there, Zach worked as a Cultural Affairs Intern at the U.S. Embassy in Argentina, where he advised two scholarship students on how to interview and apply to American universities and coordinated events for International Education Week. Zach now serves as Meridian's Resources Information Officer, which requires him to oversee information management related to the IVLP and provide support to the Communications team for website development. Zach is currently pursuing a M.A. in International Affairs at the American University School of International Service. He is also conversant in Spanish.
