Yuliia Pavlenko is the Director of the International Operations Department at National Postal Operator, Ukrposhta. She is also a leader in UkrainePost's growing international business, driving cross-border product development, building partnerships and new solutions with postal and logistics players across the globe.
In 2016, she initiated the E-Export school program with the aim of providing Ukrainian entrepreneurs with tools to launch online stores on international marketplaces. More than 200 free open events have been held in offline and online formats since then. The E-Export project was highly praised by international experts and won two awards at the prestigious "World Post & Parcel Awards 2019" (Dublin, Ireland): "Postal Technologies for E-commerce" and "Socially Responsible Programs."
Through this project, 10 free webinars were conducted to help develop and support small entrepreneurs and businesses in Ukraine that produce and trade goods through e-commerce platforms. Webinars covered topics including how to successfully market products on eBay, Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, and other platforms. On average, each webinar had about 1,100 people registered and about 4,000 people watched either the live feed or the recorded version on YouTube. Overall, the webinars reached about 44,000 total viewers, which is about three times more than expected in the original proposal. Attendees have shared overwhelmingly positive feedback and confirmed that the knowledge from the webinars has either expanded their business’ reach or inspired them to integrate new methods into their work.
Yuliia participated in the IVLP Project Entrepreneurship as the Engine of Prosperity and Stability - Small Business Development, organized by the U.S. Department of State and Meridian International Center, in partnership with Iowa International Center and WorldChicago.
