This project encouraged increased political participation by women in Czech society. Two interactive weekend training workshops were conducted for local female politicians, one in Prague and one in the Ústecký region. Participants met with Czech senator Adela Sipova and local politician Lenka Simerska and learned how to efficiently debate and communicate in politics. A total of 29 women from various democratic political parties in different parts of the Czech Republic were motivated to run in the 2022 local elections.
Veronika participated in the IVLP Project Women in Politics and Civil Society organized by the U.S. Department of State and Meridian International Center, in partnership with International House, World Affairs Council of Kentucky & Southern Indiana and Iowa International Center.
