The Vermont Council on World Affairs is a non-profit organization that works in cooperation with the public and private sector. It seeks to promote awareness, educate, and engage the community with the world and its people, places, and cultures. This mission is achieved through creating public forums, hosting international visitors, and working with the business community and educational institutions to develop programs for students, faculty, staff and the community.
For more than 60 years the Vermont Council on World Affairs has worked with the support of community members, the U.S. State Department’s International Visitors Leadership Program, the Community Connections program of USAID, and the Open World Program of the United States Congress.
