Tamara Katzman joined the Meridian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (MCCD) team in 2023 after serving as an MCCD Fellow in 2022. As a Fellow, she assisted the team in the day-to-day development of international exhibitions and the coordination of cultural exchange programs. Tamara continues these duties with MCCD as a Cultural Programs associate by supporting exhibition research and development, international exchanges, and cultural programming. She received her B.A. in International Studies with a concentration in Global Inequality and Development and a minor in Art History from American University. While completing her bachelor's degree, Tamara gained experience coordinating artistic projects with a human rights goal through her internship at Art for Human Rights (formerly Art for Amnesty). Tamara also attended a study abroad program at Science Po in Lille, France. Having been born and raised in Mexico City by a French mother and American father, Tamara is fluent in English, Spanish, and French and has a deep appreciation for different cultures and intercultural communications.
