Susanne Larsen, of Freiburg, Germany, moved to Washington D.C. in the 1970’s. Mrs. Larsen studied Art History at George Mason University.
Mrs. Larsen served as a Vice President with EastBanc, Inc., a Washington DC based real estate development firm from 1996 to 2004. While there, she oversaw the acquisition, asset management and leasing of 300,000 sf of historic storefront space in Georgetown; 200,000 sf of office space; and the retail leasing of the two Ritz Carlton projects in Georgetown and the West End. Prior to that, she worked in the Investment Services sector at Cushman & Wakefield and Barnes, Morris, Pardoe & Foster, two real estate brokerage firms.
Together, Mr. and Mrs. Larsen raise three young children: Sebastian (10), Sofia (8) and their adopted son Tamirat (6), born in Kembata, Ethiopia.
