Sarah Paxton is Program Officer in the Meridian Center for Global Leadership, where her portfolio focuses on the Foreign Press Center-Meridian cooperative agreement award management and activities, including reporting tours (virtual and in-person). Prior to joining Meridian, she managed the Wisconsin in Washington program for the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Previously, Sarah was a Global Program Advisor at the Institute of International Education (IIE). Her advising and program management portfolio included the Adobe Scholarships Program, the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship Program, and the Agricultural Transformation Initiative Fellowship and Scholarship Fund. Sarah’s background in education programs and non-profit management began at the College Success Foundation, where she held several positions in development and board management. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs with a minor in French from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in International Training and Education from American University. She speaks conversational French.
