Sam Billings joins Meridian after completing his Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from American University, School of International Service. During his time at American, Sam was elected Chief of Staff for the AU College Democrats where he planned events with speakers such as Senator Elizabeth Warren and Senator Jon Tester. He also participated in Bike Loud!, a fundraiser to bike across the United States and raised $42,000 for the Be Loud Sophie Foundation. Sam has interned for the European Services Forum where he promoted network growth for the organization and supported conferences on service trade with representatives from companies in the EU and US. Most recently, he worked for GTC 360 providing research support on federal grants and client outreach.
