Roy Kapani is the Chairman and CEO of Seacorp, a defense contractor specializing in advanced maritime and undersea systems for the U.S. Navy. He acquired Seacorp in 2021 to drive growth through investment in new technology, incorporating the best systems and ideas from the commercial world and melding them with highly specialized defense systems.
Previously, he founded and led ECS Federal, growing it to over 2,500 employees and $680 million in revenue before its acquisition by ASGN in 2018. He also held executive roles at Computer Based Systems, Inc. (CBSI) and AverStar.
Mr. Kapani serves on the boards of Johns Hopkins Medical Institute, the Center for Strategic, and International Studies (CSIS), the Center for the Study of the Presidency and Congress (CSPC), and the Meridian International Center. A recipient of the 2014 EY Entrepreneur of the Year award in Government Services, he is also a member of the Economic Club of Washington, DC, and the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).
In 2018, he and his wife, Manisha, founded The Kapani Foundation to support health, education, and civic engagement initiatives through philanthropy.
