Rosa Sanchez is the Co-Founder and President of Hands On Perú, a nonprofit that works to bridge the health gap in Trujillo, Peru through rural medical campaigns. Her organization seeks to increase international recognition and an understanding of Peru’s medical system by bringing volunteers to marginalized populations to provide health care. Her previous experience includes working in surgical and psychiatric nursing, as well as planning and executing the project CESAPU, the first public health community center in Peru. She has a Nursing degree from the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego.
