The project explored the complexities of Greek American relations. Despite policymakers' claims of the strongest-ever bilateral ties between the two countries, a gap persists in the public understanding of the relationship. The project addressed these public misconceptions and deepened understanding through conversations with experts, academics, diplomats, policymakers, and influencers.
The six-episode podcast series facilitated candid conversations among Greek and American experts, diplomats, policymakers, and academics and explored the complexities and potential of this relationship, bridging the knowledge gap and fostering a deeper understanding of its future. The project also involved 40 students in research and roundtable discussions. This involvement enriched the project’s academic impact and encouraged students to write essays on Greek-American relations, ensuring the initiative’s long-term sustainability and integration into policy discussions.
So far, Revecca the podcast has gained traction with 800+ streams across Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, featuring high-profile guests like Ambassador Geoffrey Pyatt. The project also received national and local media coverage, amplifying its reach and reinforcing its role as a platform for credible discussions on Greek-American relations. The project’s recognition has reinforced its importance in shaping public discourse and influencing policy debates surrounding bilateral ties.
