Rebecca Taylor (Becca) has worked at Meridian for four years and now serves as the Professional Exchanges Division Administrator. Prior to becoming the Division Administrator, Becca was a PED Program Associate and held additional roles, including Program Materials Editor and Cost-Share Facilitator. As the former Program Materials Editor and Cost-Share Facilitator, she was responsible for editing Meridian IVLP program books, proposals, visitor bios among other materials and oversaw our cost-share initiative. She originally came to Meridian as the Global Service Leaders Inter, coordinating the MLK International Day of Service, distributing a weekly newsletter, and connecting volunteer service leaders from around the world. Becca brings experience from her time as a volunteer with Cross Cultural Solutions at the Fikelela Orphanage in Cape Town, South Africa, where she cared for and taught basic English to a group of 25 children and worked with local employees to restructure the orphanage. She received her B.A. in International Relations from the University of Delaware. During her studies, she spent a month a the Dante Alighieri University in Siena, Italy studying the Italian language. Becca is now pursuing her M.A. in International Development at American University's School of International Service.
