Rebecca Murphy is Senior Vice President of Geopolitical Analysis at Fiserv and is Adjunct Professor at George Washington University, where she teaches Political Risk Analysis in the Elliott School of International Affairs. She previously held the roles of Vice President of Geopolitical Research at JPMorgan Chase and Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Columbia University, where she taught International Relations and Contemporary Diplomacy. She has nearly 15 years of experience advising senior business leaders about the implications of global political, security, and socioeconomic developments, as well as serving and teaching the next generation of diplomats and future industry leaders in international political affairs and risk.
She received her B.A. and M.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto and earned her Ph.D. in International Relations (International Security) from Columbia University. She is based in Nashville, TN, with professional interests and activities in Washington, DC, and across New York State.
