Pedro Branco is a consultant at Sense-Lab, a social innovation laboratory, and business manager at Hand Talk, a technology startup that converts text and audio directly into sign language. This revolutionary app is frequently used by the deaf community. The company was recognized by the United Nations as the best social app in the world. Previously, Mr. Branco worked at Dow Chemical as an account manager and commercial analyst and at Ernst & Young as a trainee. Mr. Branco was also a franchisee owner of Subway restaurants and co-founder of The Craft Shoes Factory and Abraço Cultural, a social business for refugees. He has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the school of Higher Education in Advertising and Marketing in São Paulo (ESPM) and he has taken several courses on social entrepreneurship.
