Paula Porras is co-founder of Educacionenpaz.org, a virtual platform for promoting peace education and reconciliation in Colombia and Latin America. The platform has impacted more than 1,200 people in the country. She is also an innovation consultant at The National Department of Science, Technology, and Innovation in Colombia. Since 2013, Paula has been the Marketing and Special Projects Coordinator at the non-profit Somos CaPAZes, which aims to educate, motivate, and challenge children and youth to examine and resolve conflicts and complex issues in their personal lives and their communities. She is also the Co-founder and CEO of Mercado con Sentido, a digital marketplace where the products offered contribute to the development of a community and/or nonprofit organizations. She has a degree in Industrial Engineering and in Business Administration from the Universidad de los Andes, Colombia.
