Online educational materials on prevention and response mechanisms were widely shared through partnerships with leading local social media platforms whose primary audience is women and girls. Print versions of the materials were also shared at Baze University and Rivers State University. Thousands of women and girls were reached with information on taking timely measures to preempt violence, seek care or access justice.
Oluwaseun participated in the IVLP Project Ending Gender-Based Violence, organized by the U.S. Department of State and World Learning in partnership with Vermont Council on World Affairs, WorldBoston, International Focus, Inc. and Global New Orleans.
Oluwaseun's exchange experience led to the development of her IVLP Impact Award Project: "The IVLP program was engaging and enlightening! It exposed me to new initiatives SGBV-focused organizations are exploring, which I am currently adapting to my organization's strategy and programs."
