Oksana Moroz is the founder of the initiative on information hygiene "How not to become a vegetable." She is the creator and host of radio and television programs on information hygiene. Ms. Moroz is also author of three books, and her first two books were recognized as Book of the Year. Since 2015, she has been a permanent guest speaker at the Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. Her materials are regularly published by leading Ukrainian mass media: Pravda.com.ua, nv.ua, Radio NV and others.
This project asked participants to address the question, “Do you have the weapons to wage and win the information war?” Twenty-two participants discussed ways to do so, and their discussions resulted in 7 distinct social entrepreneurship ideas being improved. Fourteen educational videos on topics such as combatting Russian propaganda or spotting disinformation in the media were created and distributed.
Oksana participated in the IVLP Project 21st Century ChangeMakers: Countering Disinformation among Older Adults, organized by the U.S. Department of State and the Institute of International Education, in partnership with World Affairs Council- Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky, WorldBoston, World Affairs Council- Seattle, the U.S. Department of State Office of International Visitors program branch in New York City, WorldChicago, and World Partnerships, Inc.
