Noel Sampson is the Co-founder and Director of Emerge, a company that provides specialized professional services and innovative solutions on urban development, housing, development cooperation, sustainable architecture, and disaster risk reduction in cities that are currently facing the challenges of rapid urbanization and the impacts of climate change. Prior to founding Emerge in 2015, Noel founded the Dev Studio, a platform that promotes architecture as a means for social development. Previously, he worked and collaborated with different international organizations in Vietnam, Mongolia, Switzerland, Palestine, and Nicaragua including UN-Habitat and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Noel holds a Master's Degree in International Cooperation and Urban Development from TU Darmstadt, Germany, and has studied in Sweden, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.
