Nick Cortina joined Meridian as a Program Coordinator for the GlobalConnect team in April 2019. Prior to joining Meridian, Nick worked at Georgetown University’s School of Continuing Studies (SCS), advising new students in four masters of Professional Studies programs. Before his work at Georgetown SCS, he served as Global Recruitment Manager at Atlas Corps, a nonprofit in Washington, DC that implements a professional fellowship program for social change leaders from across the world. He was responsible for candidate vetting and recruitment, the pre-arrival process for Fellows, and general Fellow support throughout their time in the United States.

Nick has a B.A. in Linguistics with minors in Spanish and Government from Georgetown University. While studying at Georgetown, he spent a semester abroad in Salamanca, Spain where he gained fluency in Spanish. He also has a limited working proficiency in French.
