Nagat Khalifa serves as a Program Coordinator within the Meridian Center for Global Leadership. Before starting her current role at Meridian, Nagat helped implement the U.S. Department of Education’s TRIO Programs at FSCJ in Jacksonville, FL as an Academic Assistant. A 2021 Global Ties U.S. Emerging Leader, she was also an IVLP intern at GlobalJax. Some of her other experiences include working with Afghani, Syrian, and Iraqi refugee populations in Florida.

Nagat is a 2022 graduate of the University of North Florida, where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Social Justice with a minor in Political Science. While at university, she focused on the role of race, gender, religion, and culture in the United States and internationally. Nagat also speaks Arabic and Egyptian Sign Language.
