Miguel Yi is the Co-Founder and Product Manager of Helud, a health social network that aims to empower patients to make smarter choices about their own health by enabling the collaboration and sharing of healthcare information between all members of the health ecosystem. In 2009, he identified an opportunity to significantly simplify healthcare professionals' daily tasks by using automation and co-founded MedicalPro; this project was a finalist in the 2011 Venezuelan Wayra cohort. In 2016, Miguel and his partners developed a new business idea based on big data analytics and founded Helud. Miguel holds an Electronic Engineering degree from the Universidad Simón Bolívar and an MBA from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administración (IESA) in Venezuela.
