Michelle Kosinski is CNN's senior diplomatic correspondent responsible for covering the U.S. State Department and was previously the network's White House correspondent during the Obama administration. Before joining CNN in 2014, Kosinski served as NBC News' foreign correspondent based in London, where she reported for NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams , The Today Shoow , MSNBC and CNBC. She received an Emmy for her role covering the 2008 presidential election and for her reporting on immigration issues in Miami. She was also named 2005 Woman of the Year by South Florida Women in Communications. Kosinski also produced numerous longer-form investigative reports for WTVJ, where she had previously been bureau chief and was voted "Best Reporter in Charlotte" by readers of the city's arts and entertainment magazine. She earned her Bacherlor's and Master's degrees from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in Chicago.
