IVLP Impact Award Project: Electrical Power Systems, Renewable Energy and Energy Transition in North Macedonia: An Introductory Training for Journalists

This project enhanced 15 journalists' understanding of North Macedonia's energy sector, focusing on renewable energy and its significance in the country's development plans. The project included trainings on power systems, renewable energy sources, energy markets, investigative reporting on energy companies, climate change and energy policy and effective communication of energy-related issues. A handbook was developed and shared with journalists to provide them with a comprehensive guide to report on energy-related issues in an informed and accurate manner.

“Thank you very much for the handbook…It is really amazing to have a handbook with the basic information of this important sector!” - Project Participant
