Matilda Vangjeli joins Meridian as an IVLP Program Officer in the Center for Global Leadership. Matilda spent over 20 years at the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, Albania working in the Public Affairs Section, most recently as Public Engagement Director.  She was responsible for a variety of public diplomacy and public affairs functions including working with exchange alumni (IVLP, Fulbright, Humphrey, etc.) managing American Spaces programming in Albania, and Education USA programs.  She has also worked for the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the American Bar Association for Central and Eastern European Law Initiatives, and for the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
