Mary Sauerborn is an IVLP Program Officer in the Meridian Center for Global Leadership. She has also served Meridian as a Senior Program Associate, Trainer and Staff Exchange Co-Facilitator. Mary was recognized with the Global Ties U.S. Excellence in Programming Award in the National Program Agency category for her work as a Program Associate in 2018.

Mary holds a Master of International Studies degree from North Carolina State University (NCSU), where she specialized in Public Diplomacy Administration. Before joining Meridian in 2015, Mary interned and volunteered with International Focus, Inc., where she assisted in developing IVLP projects and grant proposals for the IVLP and other exchange programs in Raleigh, NC. As an NCSU undergraduate, Mary studied abroad in Concépcion, Chile, and has since traveled throughout Latin America, Europe and Asia. She is proficient in Spanish.
