Martin Cargas is a Senior Advisor in the Food & Agriculture Practice at McLarty Associates, a DC-based international strategic advisory firm. Mr. Cargas spent a decade as Vice President for Global and Environmental Affairs at Anheuser-Busch Companies. He represented Anheuser-Busch before all levels of government across the world and helped the company expand its operations in critical overseas markets including China and India. He managed a network of regional and local consultants and oversaw and executed complex strategies across a broad range of issues, including food and beverage, intellectual property, and investment and regulatory issues. He is also a respected figure in Washington on international business issues.
Mr. Cargas joined Anheuser-Busch in 1991 as Associate General Counsel. Prior to his tenure at Anheuser-Busch, he practiced law in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Cargas holds a BS in natural resources policy from the University of Michigan, a JD from Hofstra University, and an Executive Masters in international business studies from St. Louis University.
