Luciana Gonzalez-Revilla was born in Lima, Peru on May 27, 1970. In 1971, she and her family moved to Panama, where her father is from. At the age of 15, she transferred to The Madeira School in Virginia, where she obtained her high school degree; and later enrolled at the College of William and Mary and graduated with honors in 1992.
After graduating from William and Mary, she moved to Panama to work for her family business, Metales S.A., as the Chief Financial Officer. She held this position for ten years. Mrs. Gonzalez-Revilla is married to Ambassador Emanuel Gonzalez-Revilla and they have two sons: Emanuel and Alejandro. In 2014, she and her family moved to Washington D.C., after Ambassador Emanuel Gonzalez-Revilla was appointed Ambassador of Panama to the United States by President Juan Carlos Varela.
