Liuba Şevciuc is an investigative journalist who has worked for Radio Free Europe, Publika TV, and RISE Moldova. Throughout her career, she has delved into the topics of corruption, money laundering, and the concealed assets of politicians. She has an unwavering commitment to journalistic integrity and truth-seeking. She is the co-founder of CU SENS Media Project, a media NGO that specializes in producing video investigations.
This project fostered cross-border investigative journalism by sharing the experiences of IVLP alumni with Moldovan journalists and activists. IVLP alumni from Malta, Slovakia, and Uzbekistan led discussions on investigative journalism, documentational techniques, case studies and their IVLP experiences. The conference was conducted in English and Russian, catering to the bilingual proficiency of most Moldovan journalists. Fifty investigative journalists, several from high-ranking Moldovan media institutions, participated, along with civil society representatives and journalism students.
Liuba participated in the IVLP Project Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists - Research and Investigation II, organized by the U.S. Department of State and FHI 360 in partnership with World Trade Center Institute, World Partnerships Inc, San Diego Diplomacy Council and WorldChicago.
