Lindsay joined Meridian in February 2011 and has played an integral role in the Meridian Center for Cultural Diplomacy (MCCD). A proactive organizer and creative problem solver, she has over 12 years of professional experience in international educational exchange and public diplomacy. In her role as Director of Cultural Programs, she manages the development of proposals, exchanges, and exhibitions. Since 2016, she has served as Program Director of Next Level, a U.S. Department of State-sponsored, multi-disciplinary arts exchange that sends American hip hop artists overseas to engage youth, encourage entrepreneurship in the arts, and promote conflict transformation.
Lindsay has worked closely with the cultural diplomacy team to curate art exhibitions that showcase international culture to American audiences, and photographic documentary exhibitions that U.S. embassies use to share American history and values with international audiences. She also has led past MCCD arts exchanges and delegations, including its MuralsEngage program that sends American artists across borders to create public art on key social issues in collaboration with local communities. She has also managed MCCD education and community outreach activities, sharing diverse cultures to K-12 students worldwide. Lindsay has a B.A. in Art History from Emory University and a M.A. in Art History from The George Washington University.
