Linda Lopez has been a life coach at Crear.Ser for 10 years. She is also an artist, director, creator of her own brand, "Canela," and the co-founder of Lima Emprende, a non-profit organization dedicated to support the community of women entrepreneurs in Peru. She believes that empowered women empower other women and when they are united, they can achieve more than one can imagine.
This online leadership and entrepreneurship program focused on empowering women entrepreneurs in Peru. Participants included 100 women entrepreneurs between the ages of 20 and 45, Peruvians as well as Venezuelan migrants. Online training enhanced their leadership skills and personal development. Session topics included leadership, resilience, negotiation, finance, business plan development, and sales. The program promoted the integration of Peruvian and Venezuelan women in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and integrated the participants into a network of women entrepreneurs.
Linda participated in the IVLP Project Women and Entrepreneurship, organized by the U.S. Department of State and CRDF Global in partnership with Global Ties Alabama, Global Ties Sacramento, Global Ties Akron, Cleveland Council on World Affairs and International House.
Linda's exchange experience led to the development of her IVLP Impact Award Project: "IVLP exceeded my expectations and gave me motivation to continue working for our communities. I understood that the needs are the same around the world and that by working collectively, we achieve more than we think we can. It was an amazing experience!"
