Kirsi Jarvis joined the GlobalConnect team as a Program Associate in October 2015. She has worked on a variety of leadership exchange programs, providing programmatic, logistical, and administrative support for exchanges sponsored by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassies abroad, the Foreign Press Center, and private partnerships. In July 2016, Kirsi assisted with the implementation of the long-running U.S. Congress- Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange program. As an intern, she provided logistical support for the 2015 WiSci Girls STEAM Camp program in Rwanda. Kirsi graduated from Brigham Young University (Provo, UT) in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Asian studies, concentration in China studies, and a minor in world dance. She served as a full time volunteer representative for the LDS church in Taiwan for a year and half. She also studied abroad in Nanjing, China at Nanjing University. As an undergraduate, Kirsi trained with dancers from around the world and toured locally with the BYU International Folk Dancers. Kirsi speaks Mandarin Chinese.
