Kate has worked as a Program Officer for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) with Meridian’s Center for Global Leadership since 2017.

Since 2020, Kate has served as the Virtual Lead for the IVLP team, leveraging her background in blended learning curriculum and work with educational technology to support new efforts in virtual programming.

Kate has an M.A. in Anthropology and Education from Columbia University Teachers College. She is also a certified TESOL instructor and Qualified Administrator for the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI). In 2019, she was recognized by the Alliance for International Exchange with their McCarry Leadership Award.

Kate joined Meridian after working as the Manager of Membership and Programs for adult exchange programs with AFS Intercultural Programs. She is an experienced researcher, educator, trainer, and interculturalist. She speaks Spanish and has lived in Australia, Guatemala, Honduras, Spain, and Vietnam
