Kate Klygis is currently pursuing a Masters degree at GW in Security Policy Studies with a concentration on transnational security. Kate spent two years as an English teacher with the North American Language and Culture Assistants Program in Basauri, Spain. In her role she worked to create ESL curricula and implement in the schools educational programs. During her undergraduate studies Kate participated in a 1-month research trip to Cape Town, South Africa to look at spatial dimensions of water security in the Langa township. Kate is fluent in Spanish.
