Kate Beale

Kate Beale serves as Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Meridian International Center. She leads initiatives on critical political, economic, and national security issues by connecting Republican and Democratic leaders, fortune 500 CEOs, University Presidents, foreign leaders, Governors, and industry innovators on key domestic and global issues. Kate brings over 20 years of experience in the hallways of Congress, the White House, C-suites, foreign ministries, and state houses across the U.S.

She has built successful coalitions and manages a network of leaders across the U.S. and in Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Europe. Kate has deep policy and regulatory expertise in healthcare, higher education, trade, economic development, and national security.

Most recently, Kate served as Managing Director at Crowell Global Advisors (CGA) and provided government relations advice to Crowell & Moring LLP. Prior to CGA, Kate was Associate Vice President at the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America, PhRMA, where she built coalitions, led negotiations and advocated on behalf of U.S., European and Japanese pharmaceutical companies on market development strategies, regulatory policy, intellectual property frameworks, and global health challenges.

Kate also held senior leadership roles within the White House and Congress, directing strategy, shaping policy, and securing federal funding. Kate began her career in Washington as a legislative staff member in the U.S. Senate. Kate’s career long commitment to service and advancing America’s global leadership is built upon her three years in Paraguay as a Peace Corps volunteer. Kate graduated from Boston University and currently resides in Washington, D.C. with her husband and two sons.
