Joan Phillips is a communications professional with expertise in instructional design, program and publications management, marketing, and public relations. She specializes in helping educational enterprises shape sound program offerings and find wider audiences.
Working with ESI International, IPSolutions, the U.S. Strategic Leadership Institute, and other organizations, she has managed the development and directed the marketing of professional development programs in partnership with The George Washington University, Stanford University, and the American Film Institute. She has also designed, developed, and presented many leadership and communication courses for business executives and professionals. At Meridian, she has helped to define, create, and market the Global Leadership Institute’s initial offerings, as well as develop and present a global leadership program for youth in partnership with WorldStrides and other leadership development content. She has an M.A. in English from Brandeis University and a B.A., summa cum laude, in English from the University of Massachusetts at Boston.
