Harrison Davis joined Meridian International Center’s GlobalConnect Division in September 2015 as a Program Associate, after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science the preceding spring from Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. Since then, he has worked on a wealth of U.S. Embassy funded programs, including the 2016 Iraqi Young Leaders Exchange Program (IYLEP) and the annual Afghan Diplomat Training Program. Harrison took on the role of Program Coordinator in the fall of 2017, following his work with the 2017 U.S. Congress – Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange Program. Harrison has traveled internationally for both work and pleasure; most recently to Erbil, Iraq in the spring of 2016 to help implement the 2014-15 IYLEP Alumni Reunion. Apart from travel, Harrison’s passions include culinary diplomacy, international relations, and educational exchange programming. Through his schooling, Harrison studied basic Latin, Spanish, French, and German.
