Eva M. Parker-Bulgakova is an incoming Master's student at San Francisco State University, where she will be studying international relations. She previously earned her undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis. Following this, she undertook graduate work at the New York University College of Dentistry before shifting her academic focus towards humanities at American River College. It was here where she earned an Associate degree in Political Science. During her time at American River College, Eva served as the President of the Model United Nations (MUN) and led a distinguished team to success at the Conference of the Far West in April 2022, one of the oldest and longest-running MUN organizations. Concurrently, she served on the board of the United Nations Association of Sacramento, where she chaired the young professional committee. Eva also gained professional experience as an intern with the U.S. Department of State. In this role, she profiled diplomats in service, assisted in developing a strategy to fortify American diplomatic presence in the Indo-Pacific region, and helped with Russian curriculum development for the Foreign Service Institute. This summer, she is interning with the Department of Defense, monitoring open-source intelligence data on Chinese messaging activities in the Arabian Peninsula and the Levant region. In her spare time, Eva volunteers as an Adult Literacy Tutor at the Sacramento Public Library. She also serves as an English as a Second Language tutor with the World Relief organization and aids in the emergency food distribution service with the Sunrise Christian Food Ministry in Citrus Heights.
