Eduardo Lebron is a recent graduate of the Borough of Manhattan Community College, having majored in Computer Network Technology student. He plans to transfer to New York University in the fall, majoring in Information Systems Management. Growing up, his father was a computer technician, and watching him build and fix computers inspired Eduardo to do the same. Through his experiences at BMCC, Eduardo discovered he didn't just want to work with computers; he wanted to use computers to help people. Eduardo took the initiative to improve his support skills by participating in Reimagining My Community, an internship focused on students directly interacting with a community's residents and representatives, and work together to improve their quality of life. Feeling impassioned from the experience, Eduardo sought further opportunities to assist others. He worked as a Peer Mentor within BMCC's Accelerated Studies for Associate Programs, helping students through academic and career workshops. He is currently interning at the NYS Office of information Technology Services in order to develop his technical skills. Eduardo hopes to become a Technical Support Specialist on a large-scale, helping people across the country or even the world. When his is not working or studying, Eduardo enjoys exploring New York City with his friends, or winding down at home with some video games.
